I think I may have a blood clot. I have a history of them. A few years ago I had a very painful one in my left groin! I have a small ball that start in the same area about a week r so ago! Now it’s a big ball, swelling and pain in my upper thigh down my leg on that side! I feel tired m. Just wanna sleep! And now my chest is bothering me a little! Do u think it’s a blood clot again! I have been passin Lil clots In my stool!
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Passing blood in the stool may be due to hemorrhoid or fissure. But a clot in the limbs may be due to deep vein thrombosis or hypercoagulable states like factor V Leidenmutation, protein C and S deficiency, homocysteinemia etcetera.
Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your physician so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
