What Does Pain Around Dental Implants Indicate?

I just went thru surgery for two molar extractions and 2 bone graft with abutments. The next day I took my daughter to daughter to chuck e cheese and my daughter asked me to get on a video ride (think universal studios rides only for two people), there were a lot of vibrations and jolts. Could this my dental implants to fail? I have a very minor paln (discomfort) in the area, not sure if its normal pain from surgery its been 2 and a half days since the surgery.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Initially after implant surgery or any other surgical procedure mild inflammation of tissues can cause pain and discomfort and it is not abnormal..

I do not think that there is implant failure and you need not to worry about it..

Avoid any trauma to the implant site, take soft meals and do warm saline gargles..

In case if the pain and discomfort worsen then you should consult your Implantologist and get evaluated..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
