Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Swollen lymph nodes are not essentially associated with infection of the throat. You should go to the nearest medical center if you develop High-grade fever, Fatiguability, severe and productive cough. You need to do the following:

1- Clinical assessment for bacterial infection.
2- You should have enough bed rest and to drink warm drinks with herbal preparations.
3- Over the counter analgesics such as ibuprofen.
4- Antibiotics in case of bacterial infection only.
5- Decongestants to relieve your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
