knee pain just below the knees. not in the soft spot just below knees but in the hard spot just below that both legs equally. doesnt hurt to touch but hurts to kneel, hurts after exercises, hurts upon waking then gets better. I am a runner. have had it about 4 months. the only difference with resting is it doesnt hurt during walking but with brisk walking or jogging.
Hello there! I have read through your question and according to me you have developed runners knee which can happen due to overuse like in running. It's main symptom is pain below the knee cap which increase s on bending, walking or running. It can be diagnosed by a physician on physical examination. Also an X Ray or MRI may be needed to view any internal injuries. Meanwhile you can follow the following instructions- 1. Rest your leg. Avoid exertion or putting too much pressure on your legs for a few weeks. 2. Apply ice pack every day atleast for 10 to 15 mins. 3. Elevate your leg when you are sitting. 4. Take an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen or naproxen to relieve the pain. 5. Do stretching exercises of the leg to strengthen the muscles. I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
