What Does Pain From The Shoulder To The Waist Indicate?

55 yr female (wife) 50lb over weight. Today pain started rt side neck and shoulder and on down into right side to waist. She on blood press pill and keeps it regulated pretty good. Along with this pain and discomfort her bp bottom number high. Been running 120 s over 90-101.

Yes, severe pain may lead to persistently raised levels of blood pressure, so the pain can be the cause of raised blood pressure.

As per your history, she must be having an acute muscle spasm. For that, she needs to have proper muscle relaxant medication, possible after consulting your general physician or orthopedic consult.
