hi

the symptoms that you are explaining are classic for GERD associated with gastroparesis due to diabetes mellitus

what happens is that diabetes leads to gastroparesis which means that it slower down your stomach due to which the acid produced in stomach goes in the backward direction and refluxes into the esophagus (food tube) due to which you feel severe burning pain in abdomen shooting towards heart.

GERD has many other symptoms like belching, sense of abdominal fullness, nocturnal cough and bas taste in the morning.

what i would recommend you is to have a tight sugar control along with omeprazole 2 mg once a day before breakfast and take antacid syrup 30 minutes before lunch and dinner.
