What Does Pain In The Ankles Indicate?

I hit my knee (10× worse than funny bone) on the corner of the couch yesterday and 6 min later i felt a tightening in my ankle and top and top and bottom of foot hurts. I, looked and there was a weird looking vein down the front of ankle towards big toe curved across my foot. I, fell on the same knee last year running at the daycare and tripped really bad over a slide and heard a loud crack or pop, never seen Dr. It feels like cold water is running up and down my leg to foot. Hard to walk on today...no color change. What did I do to myself?

Hello!

It could be a nerve injury if pain is radiating too much . One more thing that comes to my mind is ligament injury . Either way we need to get it checked and also a scan of the knee.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
