What Does Pain In The Ankles Indicate?

Yes, I had no pain or issues whatever with my left ankle yesterday. However, I awakened this morning with much pain in said ankle. It came on suddenly with no warning. I did nothing to cause injury....the pain just seemed to pop up. However, I have been diagnosed by a doctor with gout; and have been prescribed with Indomethacin and colcrys. Could it just be a flare-up of gout?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think you are suffering a gout attack. Indomethacin is the right treatment.
