I have been on and off levaquin/prednisone for the past couple of months for upper respiratory illness. Yesterday I got a pain in my calf and hurts to walk. It almost feels like it is coming up my inside thigh. I have been icing it. Do I need to go to doctor or just continue icing it
Crampy pains in the calf muscles are called intermittent claudication and it can happen due to varicose veins also. Use calf compressor socks whole day while working, it is available in any medical store.
Try to change your lifestyle and do a little bit of exercise every day. Eat well and get well soon.
