What Does Pain In The Chest And Left Arm Indicate?

Last week I experienced chest pain. This pain expanded to slowly include the left arm starting at the arm pit and slowing adding the rest of the arm. This pain ended after about 15 minutes. This pain started after sitting and watching my son s jazz concert for about 45 minutes and ended before we had to leave so there was no physical activity or really any change in activity before, during, or immediately after this occurred.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

How old are you? Are you diabetic? Are you hypertensive? Possible causes are
1. Cardiac ischemic pain.
2. Cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy.
3. Mild stroke.
4. Muscular pain etcetera.
Until examination, it is difficult to say what it is. First, confirm that pain is not originating from the heart. If cardiac pain, please consult your cardiologist immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
