What Does Pain In The Elbow After An Injury Indicate?

I hit my elbow three weeks ago on the car door trying to get into the car. It hurt but I didn t think much about it Until a few days latter it started it hurt and when I tried to pick up something man the pain was awful. Now my Mussels hurts and aches. Do you think I have broken my elbow?

Thanks for the query.
From the type of the injury & pattern of pain you have I suspect trauma to ulnar nerve while it wounds through ulnar notch of the ulnar bone forming elbow joint. Thishas caused inflammation of nerve causing pain in the muscles suplied by it &also typical current like pain in the nerve too.
Rest to the elbow/pain medicine over the counter &vitamine B12 pill daily once should offer some relief. It would take 3 months for relief.
If unbesrable consult a orthopedic doctor.
