What Does Pain In The Eyes Indicate?

I have had pain in my eye socket, light swelling pockets and darkness under both eyes. I take no medication age 61 female, the darkness and pain is less than two years ago after a jaw injury. My pupils are both a lot smaller after the injury. The pain stays with me for from two weeks to several days then may go away for a week or so. Is there anything I can do for the pain. my name is Leslie

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You should get eye examination as soon as possible and the cause of smaller cornea also needs to be found.

There should be internal eye examination and extraocular muscle testing. Do not ignore it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
