What Does Pain In The Groin Area After Intercourse Indicate?

Hi, I had unprotected sexual intercourse with my wife and within 3 days felt a tickle in the head of my penis and the pain slowly went up to my kidneys/abdomen. It s a dull ache in my kidney and my groin. My testicle are sagging really low like they are not connected to my penis. I constantly feel dizzy and light headed. Been checked for STD, all negative. Please help. I also get random itches on my body.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query about your husband and here are my thoughts.

Feeling tickle in the head of penis that is glans, pain in kidney area and groin after an unprotected sex with wife can be due to the following reasons:
Due to unprotected sex you might have got urinary tract infection that traversed up to cause kidney pain, cystitis causing tinkling in the glans and pain in groin.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Send the sample of urine for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity before starting any antibiotics.
Tests of blood.
Ultrasonography of abdomen, particularly for genitourinary tract.
Same investigations for your wife along with an opinion of a Gynecologist with internal examination.
A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and symptomatic treatment for both of you.
Take plenty of oral fluids.
No intercourse for about 10 day and once everything is well settled then protected sex only for 3 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
