Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a friend here that is complaining his groin area is causing him a lot of pain. He thinks he possibly pulled something while exercising yesterday. All I can say is I know he is in a lot of pain. I heated up this thing I have for relaxing muscles to help relax it but I want to know besides Ibuprofen what can I do to help him.
Groin pain can be anything. Since we do not know what could be the etiology we can treat him symptomatically with analgesics like Diclofenac, Tramadol or Pethidine, etcetera.
All this can be taken only temporarily and that to with prescription from any general practitioners. You should not misuse the drugs.
If symptoms are getting worse, then kindly get an ultrasound abdomen and get back to us with the reports.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
