What Does Pain In The Hips Along With Severe Dizziness Indicate?

Thigh bone pain and hip pain since Nov 17 with prolonged elevated white count and elevated d dimer readings found and negative xrays. Now have severe dizziness and episode of sudden onset right rib cage pain in front and back with negative CT of Pulmonary embolism on 2/28. Followed up with PCP and was given steroid dose pack and muscle relaxant to see if it was related to posture/spasm. Dizziness and chest discomfort still happening 9 days after steroid treatment completed. Vital signs and blood sugars are normal as well. Just want to know what specialist I should see first. Like does a cardiac Dr also take care of carotid blockages as well. I have insurance but would prefer one DR and copays.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Systemic disease, such as autoimmune should be ruled out. The multi-organ symptoms and elevated D-dimer could be relevant to a rheumatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
