What Does Pain In The Hips Indicate?

I have a dull ache on the back/side of left hip It feels like my belt is to tight but that is not the case. I had urinary trac infection a couple of weeks ago and was wondering if that could be part of the problem . I have a lot of cancer in my family so I was concerned about that too

Dear user, Common symptoms of urinary tract infection include: Strong and frequent urge to urinate. Cloudy, bloody, or strong smelling urine. Pain or burning sensation when urinating.
Hip pain on the outside of your hip, upper thigh or outer buttock is usually caused by problems with muscles, ligaments, tendons and other soft tissues that surround your hip joint. Hip pain can sometimes be caused by diseases and conditions in other areas of your body, such as your lower back.
