What Does Pain In The Hips On The Right Side Indicate?

I head pain in muscle on outside of right hip for about three months on and off. It is hard o raise leg to get in and out of my truck. Heat and massage help. Muscle on right side doesn t feel the same as on left side .. Feels like it is bulging or something. Any ideas?

kindly get a hip x-ray done because your symptoms for me looking like avascular necrosis oh head of a femur. or maybe some infection to that part can be there which can be treated with antibiotics. kindly get examined since it is necessary in your case especially with an orthopedic and x-ray would help in better diagnosis. you can take any painkillers for now and anti-inflammatory medication but with the prescription. with this online consultation, I can advise you only this much.Hope this info helps you sort out your problems.
