What Does Pain In The Left Breast Indicate?

I have been experiencing some litle pains in my left breast but I must admit that it seems to be traveling it sometimes goes to my left hand, my stomach, my left back side area, sometimes I even feel it in my legs and sometimes to my other breast. Then after I wold fart. Could be a sign/symptom of breast cancer or its just gas running through my body. Presently the pain is in my hand.

This is not typical sign of breast cancer and this is the last thing to think of and most causes of pain in breast are benign and not serious. There are a number of harmless causes for breast pain and tenderness that may primarily be related to changes in hormone levels. These can include:Menstruation and premenstrual syndrome (PMS), Mastitis, Menopause and Fibrocystic Breast Tissue which is most common.

However, it is advisable to do breast ultrasound and mammography just to be sure and start regular follow up of possible cysts. In case of redness, fever and progressive pain this may indicate abscess and then it should be surgically drained or evacuated by needle under control of ultrasound.
