hi I am a 70 yr old female breast cancer survivor 23 yrs ago, lately, I hv been feeling pains in my left collar bone which usually lasts for a few minutes. I am also diabetic 7.4 , my BP is 130/90 The pain occurs once in a while, may I know what this is?
If you have the pain for more than 2-3 months, it is advisable to have a check with your doctor. Your doctor will check if there are lymph nodes palpable in the area that you feel the pain. Also, muscles may be the cause of the pain or certain structures of the neck. Sometimes, an ultrasound examination may be needed and rarely an X-ray.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
