What Does Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Left Side Indicate?
I m having pain in my lower left abdomen. This is the second day. There is no way that it is pregnancy, I have had a hysterectomy. I have taken gas medication and it has not worked. I still have 1 ovary, so I don t know if I should be concerned or not.
Does this pain have any relation with food ingestion? Like pain before food intake (empty stomach) or starts after food intake. This type of pain is associated with gastric and duodenal ulcers respectively.
For that, you have to do a course of two weeks with omeprazole twelve hourly before one hour of a meal. Avoid spicy, oily foods. If it is not associated with food intake, then get ultrasonography abdomen done to rule out internal organ pathology.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
