What Does Pain In The Lower Back And Abdomen Indicate?

Recently had d&c 22 days ago. Took a test and faint positive line. Now having twinges/pinching/cramping sensation and lower back and abdominal pain/cramps. Could I be pregnant again? (We have had intercourse a few times starting 5 days after surgery so that isn’t out of the question)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor [Gyn] and do an ultrasound and urine exam to confirm exact cause.

2) Discuss with your treating Doctor about prescription medication [dicycloverine] for pain and a course of antibiotics for an infection.

3) Regarding pregnancy test which stays positive for several weeks after this procedure, so if you have any doubt, repeat it after 7 days interval.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
