Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had pain in my lower back area for some time now. I m not convinced its really my back though, it feels more like pain under my left rib cage. It comes and goes, I ve had an x-ray and two --- the one where you go in a tube?? Nothing was found. Could it be my spleen? my kidneys?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Possibly your CT scan is normal as per your narration, then spleen and kidney issues must have been ruled out by that.
Possible muscle, ligament stretch, nerve related factors or other issues need to be evaluated via clinical examination.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
