What Does Pain In The Lower Back Indicate?

I have been complaining to my doctor about pain in the middle of my back, and lower back pain. I am also very tender about my ribs from front to back. Thinking it maybe my gallbladder I had an untralsound and show not problem with my gallbladder. The pain is getting worse and I can not get my dr. to respond to me. What should be my next step or what could my issue be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for asking.
I understand your concern.
You have pain in spinal cord, ribs, sternum and in all the bone structure. In such case, I would suspect osteoporosis. Calcium & Vitamin defeciency. It would be evident on bone density test, serum, calcium and vitamin D levels.

In case confirmed, simple replacement of these would solve your problem.

Please consult a physician.

Thanks

Regards
