What Does Pain In The Middle Back On The Left Side Indicate?

I am in excellent health, fit, eat well and exercise regularly. A few weeks ago, I had a pain in my middle back that extended around to the left side. I have had lower back issues for years but never anything here. Went to my chiropractor for treatment and it went away. It has come back a few days ago. Can t remember anything causing it. Doesn t feel like it is related to my spine. May just be muscular but the way it extends around to my left side makes me wonder. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor[urologist] and to confirm do few investigations like [urine RE/ME and Ultrasound exam].

2)Do take treatment as per exact clinical findings only.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Try to drink water throughout the day.

2)Eat fewer oxalate-rich foods. These include rhubarb, beets, okra, spinach, Swiss chard, sweet potatoes, nuts, tea, chocolate and soy products.

3)Choose a diet low in salt and animal protein. Reduce the amount of salt you eat and choose non animal protein sources, such as legumes. Consider using a salt substitute.

4)Continue eating calcium-rich foods, but use caution with calcium supplements. You may reduce the risk by taking supplements with meals.

Hope that helps
