What Does Pain In The Neck Along With A Headache Indicate?

Embarrassing situation, but. During sexual intercourse with my partner, sort of. Laying on my back, with my head downward a bit. I felt a pressure build up in my head (rear right side), and then it sort of just felt like it popped or burst. Then i had quite bad pain up my neck and found it difficult to move properly or speak for a few minutes, i was sort of dazed. Sbout 15minutes afterward i started to feel nauseous. I still have the pain in my neck, its sort of more like a heated pressure now though. Is this just a headache caused by how i had my neck?

Hello,

The pain you have could be due to cervical vertebra problem due to the over extension of neck. Deviated to one side, thus causing pressure on nerves emerging out of the cervical spinal canal, causing the pain.

Please get cervical spinal x-ray/ CT scan done to find the cause. Consult a spinal surgeon. Pain in neck and head during sex is mostly caused by excitement, especially at orgasm.

If it is once in a while, disappears fast after sex, blood pressure is normal. It need not be taken seriously. But if it becomes a regular feature, remains for longer time or if there is raised blood pressure.

It needs to be investigated for. (It may involve blood vessel problem in brain like aneurism, which needs to be treated earliest).
