What Does Pain In The Penis Indicate?

Doc, I ve recently developed a pain in my groin that I first thought was nothing but sweat rash. But it persisted and then I noticed that it was more in the crotch of my leg and scrotum. When I sit, it is sometimes uncomfortable. But, this pain is not always there. Sometimes it feels like it s in the channel runs down the shaft and into the ball sac. That seems like a bad spot. Plus I think I have a hernia on that side and it would be the second one there, so I m not sure what a ball sac hernia feels like?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may have sexually transmitted disease.
The swelling present in groin region may be a lymph node swelling.
Do you have any urethral discharge?
Gonococcal urethritis may be there which causes painful lymphadenopathy. Still to confirm do USG local swelling (groin swelling) to rule out hernia or infection. In case of inguinal hernia, the swelling will increase after coughing. Note to consult a veneralogist /urologist.

Hope this will help you

Thank you
