What Does Pain In The Right Shoulder Blade Indicate?

I have an odd pain near my right shoulder blade. Am having some gastrointestinal issues (gas, bloating) so I think that is the cause. It started Sat night and continues, sometimes not too bad but am taking Tylenol now. Anything to worry about? Also, I have been very sedentary lately due to bad sprained ankle.

Hi,
thank you for your query at healthcare magic.
From your symptoms, it seems like gall bladder issues. Since you have nausea, dyspepsia and pain in the right shoulder, these are indicators of cholecystitis or cholelithiasis. Also since you have been sedentary, it can add to gall bladder issues like i mentioned.
An ultrasonography of upper abdomen can pick up such cases.
Thank you again for visiting healthcare magic.
