Thanks for contacting with your health concern

1. Since you are suffering from vitamin D deficiency thus one should take an opinion of an Endocrinologist/Gastroenterologist whether it is because of nutritional deficiency or due to some underlying disease, till then,

i. Moderate Vitamin D intake: 400-800 IU per day or calcitriol 0.25~g/day
[ carrot, beetroot, spinach, radish, mint, Amalaki rasayan, soybean, cucumber, cabbage, vitamin D fortified: pineapple/yogurt/milk/dry mushroom/ banana/ cod liver oil/sunshine

PS. simultaneously check with Potassium and Vitamin B12 level.

2. As the pain is chronic [right side] thus following is my approach

i. As the pain is on the right side, in addition to x-ray, ask for ultrasonography of HBR [hepatobiliary region] for Amoebic liver abscess and Cholecystitis.

iii. If the pain is not relieved completely, ask for investigations like:
- Gastroscopy
- Barium meal [if gastroscopy is not available]
- Stool examination
- Gastric analysis [if gastroscopy is normal]
- H.Pylori in gastroscopic aspirations, if present advise triple therapy

PS. A gastric ulcer [if positive] is potentially malignant, so biopsy and follow up with Gastroscopy is very essential.

3. As I'm unable to examine you directly, seek an opinion of a 'Gastroenterologist', till then one can assume it to be APD [acid peptic disorder] due to gastritis, thus

. Take light diet, pea soup, rice gruel, coconut water, vada made from black gram, jaggery with ghevar, regular sleep and adequate rest
. Avoid heavy, spicy, dry food, sour fruits, fish, alcohol, horse gram, late nights, fasting, painkillers, mental tension.
