What Does Pain In The Vagina During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi doctor, i am now exactly 36 weeks pregnant. Last Oct 4 and 5 i felt pain in my vagina and until it gradually disappeared. At that time it was difficult for me to walk and i observed just in the left part of my vagina. Esp everytime i stamp my left foot. I tols my Ob about this she said its because of my expanding uterus. Now the pain is gone but this time i am starting to feel lower back pain and its kinda hard for me to walk because its painful. May i know the cause of this pain ? Thanks
