Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good afternoon, I ve been having odd pains down there for quite some time now. I am a female. Once a week I will feel pressure down there and an urge to urinate but when I go to urinate I can t, and it hurts extremely bad I have been tested for a UTI and it came back negative. Do you have any idea on what this could be? YYYY@YYYY
Can I come to know what your age is? Because there are different causes of vaginal pain as per your age.
I think causes for vaginal pain are: 1) Forceful intercourse 2) Vaginal dryness 3) During menstrual period 4) Any trauma to private parts 5) Infections like sexually transmitted infections 6) Sometimes referral pain from diseases of uterus, bladder, and Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
So, I will suggest you, to come back here with detailed history or consult with Gynecologist. For that now I will suggest you to take tablet Meftal Spas unless do not have any allergy and consult with Gynaecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
