What Does Pain In The Wrists And Thumbs Indicate?

I woke up this morning with my wrist and thump hurting and feeling bloated and stiff and the back of my hand is swollen, both are this way but my right one is the worst of the two. Icing does make it feel better. Almost feels like I feel and landed on my palms , but I have not.

Painful arthritis or gouty arthritis can be the situations of the way you are explaining us your problems.

But, we need to ask you a few leading questions to know the duration, frequency, and site of the pains and is there any swelling associated with any other complication or not?

With the detailed history, we can at least come to a conclusion and treat you accordingly.

If it is arthritis biopsy would relieve gout/tophi crystals and can be treated with anti-inflammatory agents for a long term which will give you symptom-free relief.
