I have been having pain on my right side of my back . I was told it was muscular but it has not gone away . I am now having lower back pain , mainly on my right side and it has been radiating down my hip and my leg . I feel an aching in my leg , knee area and especially hip .
You are having pain on the right side of your back. The pain presently is radiating down your hip and your legs. Your symptoms may be suggestive of muscle strains, nerve problems, musculocutaneous problem in the back muscles of the right side or spinal issues like spinal stenosis, etc. Other medical conditions that may cause similar symptoms are appendicitis, kidney infection (UTI), kidney stones, sciatica, peripheral neuropathy, etc.
You can take Acetaminophen or Combiflam, one stat when pain after food to get rid of the pain and discomfort. Gentle massage with pain relieving ointment & applying pain relieving sprays may help. Warm compression may help. Get connected to a Physical therapist, exercises and massage therapy will give relieve.
Get clinically examined by a GP, get required blood tests, imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing the discomfort. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. Take food good for the nerves, or you can take supplements. If obese, maintain healthy weight. Stay away from addictions if any. If diabetic, control your blood sugar level at all cost.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
