What Does Pain On The Left Heel Indicate?

For the last few weeks, i have had a pain in my left heel. It feels as if I have a bruise in my heel. It hurts the most when my leg is inactive. After I get up and moving, putting weight on it, it gets better. It hurts the most when I get out of bed in the morning. I hobble to the bathroom, but after a few minutes, I can stand on it again. Sometimes, I feel tingly sensations in both buttocks; I do not know if these are related, but it seems coincidential. Should I contact my PCP ?
