What Does Pain On The Right Side Of The Abdomen Indicate?

I I have some pain on my right side and have had diverticulitis in the past. It started yesterday. I am pretty certain I am having another bout, so I have drinking lots of water which I had not been doing and took some medication hoping the pain will go away. The pain is isolated to one area on the right side 4 inches right of my belly button. So far, no fever, blood of any kind. Feel okay. Thoughts?
