General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I have gone through your discription. Two possibilities can be predicted from your description:

- One is planter fasciitis. For that, take simple analgesics like ibuprofen or diclofenac. Use soft sole sleepers and apply ice cubes over sole.

- Second is vitamin B12 deficiency. Get serum vitamin B12 level done from nearby pathology / biochemistry laboratory.

If report shows low level, start vitamin B12 injections initially daily for 7 days, then weekly for 1 month. Then, monthly for 4 months and then 6 monthly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
