Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing overall body discomfort/pain throughout my body, mostly my legs and (am embarrassed to say) my buttocks for approximatley 3 years and it is getting worse. Can barely get up from a sitting position. I do have spinal stenosis, but this new pain radiates throughout my body. Is this a symptom of Fibromyalgia (sp?)?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms can be related to fibromyalgia. A physical examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile you can use painkillers such as Ibuprofen.
