General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, chest X-ray, EKG may be needed to rule out lung or heart pathology however on basis of symptoms it's likely to be muscular.

Using OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen along with muscle relaxants like tizanidine may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin,
