What Does Pain Under The Ribcage On The Left Side Indicate?

I m experiencing pain under my left ribcage. The first sign was a small pea size lump on the last rib. I have had a chest crazy and abdominal ultrasound and am waiting for an endoscopy. Is this the right thing to do? It feels worse at night after my evenin meal. Any ideas?

Hello,

Usually, last ribs are floating ribs with tip contain cartilage appears as a lump but not.

Other possibilities are left abdominal muscles spasm or anxiety or infection or left renal calculi or colitis of splenic flexure of colon or splenic flexure syndrome et cetera.

Please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
