What Does Pain Under The Right Shoulder Blade Indicate?

5 years ago I broke 2 ribs near the middle of my back right under my right shoulder blade . A few days ago I woke up with a burning painful sensation in the middle of my back like the ribs had just been broken. I became nauseous and lightheaded, and had to take Ibuprofen to relieve the excruciating pain. However, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hip, and wonder if that could have had anything to do with the pain in THAT area?

It is very unlikely to have pain in rib area due to rheumatoid arthritis.but if you are on long term steroids for the same or anyother cause,u should be more cautious.
