What Does Palsy Of The Right Vocal Cord Mean?

I had a CT Scan of my neck region and the report stated: Suggestion of mild thickening of the mucosa within the pharyngeal region at the level of the epiglottis. Suggestion of palsy of the right vocal cord. I am scheduled to see an EENT in Sept but what does this mean. Thank you.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such report needs to be correlated with clinical symptoms for which the test being done, but it could be due to age, and something to take with voice, it may be inflammatory disease, and neurological disease hope this information helps.
