What Does Past Cells Occasional In Urine Report Indicate?

Respected Sir,



My mother is a patient. Now she is 74 and in her urine report it is mentioned that 'Past Cells occasional'. I am really worried regarding this matter since I lost my father due to Cancer.



Please advice me what to do?

Thanks for writing to HCM

Your mother's urine analysis is absolutely normal.Findings are not related to cancer.
Up to 5 pus cells are normal /HPF.
However she need clinical correlation.
It is important to know about the reasons for investigations.
