I am having a lot of pelvic pain on my left side that is throbbing also in my back. I have taken four advils today and no help. It hurts to urinate and I am 50 years old, have had my uterus taken out but it hurts as I would be on the first day of a menstrual cycle x 10. What can I take for the pain besides advil. n
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that left pelvic pain along with pain during micturition most likely points towards a renal stone. The pain associated with renal stone is mostly very severe depending upon the level of the stone so you may have to take a strong painkiller like Tab Tramadol. It is advisable that you should get an USG abdomen done as soon as possible to know the diagnosis and further line of treatment. Meanwhile drink lots of water as some time s if the size of stone is less it may flush out by itself. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
