My dad has been diagnosed with TCC ureter. In his report it is said: Impression:- 1. Few small periuretric node seen posterior to the mass. 2. Partially obstructing right uretric mass legion causing moderate proximal hydrouretro nephrosis. 3. Multiple bilateral simple renal cortical cysts. 4. Multiple lung parenchymal nodules are seen in the basal segments of the right lower lobe. These are likely to be infective etiology. Could you please explain each term in layman's language
HI Well come to HCM The from the imaging report it could be said that the lesion have some nodes may be sign of progression of disease once the lesions spreads up in the renal area then this could cause obstruction and most likely out come of this obstruction would be backflow of urine and this is called hydronephrosis, hope this helps.
