What Does Persistent Bleeding, After Donating Blood, Indicate?
i donated blood just before noon today. i removed the band-aid and gauze about 5 minutes ago and the puncture site was still bleeding but very minor. i put a fresh band-aid and gauze on it. what bothers me is that it is still bleeding and the nurse noted that i was filling the bag rather fast. could there be something else going on in my body that i need to be tested for ?

Puncture site may bleed for few minutes normally... However, if it bleeds more then few minutes like if more then 10 minutes then you just need to talk to your doctor to do few tests on your blood if it clots normally.
