What Does Persistent Bleeding After Tumor Removal Procedure Indicate?
my husband had a tumor removed from his bladder about 1 1/2 weeks ago he also had a stint put in he is still bleeding quit6e a bit when he goes to the bathroom could that be from the stint? or from the surgery done on his bladder we are a little nervous band thinking about going to the hospital how long can the bleeding go on is this normal this long after surgery
Post surgery of the tumor it is normal for some bleeding till about 3 to 6 weeks. It could be more following activity. There is no reason to worry unless the patient has fever or cannot pass urine. Drink a lot of water and continue with the prescribed medicines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sanskriti Jawa
