What Does Persistent Vaginal Bleeding After A Miscarriage Indicate?
I am 29 yr old. I had miscarriage on 21 sep and had dnc. After that doctor ask me to do sonography again. In that a minimal tissue are found for that he gave me tablets to take. For 7-8 days I bleed lightly than it stop. On 23 Oct I got periods. It continue for three days with heavy bleeding than it stop. But today on 29 it start bleed again. Will u pls tell me this is normal or what.
Hello dear I understand your concern Persistent vaginal bleeding is not normal after the miscarriage. It could be due to retain product of pregnancy, pelvic infection. I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, vaginal swab tests and USG scan to rule out the above cause. Retain product will be treated by misoprostol tablet or by D & C. Infection require antibiotic course. Take proper rest, drink plenty of water, take healthy diet with iron supplements, maintain proper pelvic hygiene. Hope this may help you
