What Does Pink Vaginal Discharge Indicate?

I was wondering if pink discharge is normal? I ve been on the 28-day birth control pack for a few months. Last week i had unprotected sex Wednesday and Thursday. Ejaculation took place inside me Wednesday. I forgot to take my birth control pills Wednesday and Thursday. Friday morning, i took both of the birth control pills i missed. I had unprotected sex Saturday. Forgot my pill, took it Sunday morning. When i missed my pill i believe i had a withdraw bleed. From the time i had sex i had my period around two weeks before that. I started my new pill pack the week of unprotected sex on a Sunday. Then just this week on Tuesday, i had pink discharge. It only lasted a few hours. I ve never had it before. And no i have not taken emergency contraception. Is this pink discharge normal?

I have read your description and understand your concern.
You are always at a risk of getting pregnant if you have uncontrolled intercourse when you miss your birth control pill. It is recommended in such instances to use condom and spermicidal agents to stay protected till you get your periods.
Pink spotting what you have noticed could indicate either bleeding at the time of ovulation or an implantation bleed. Also, it could be due to hormonal imbalances caused due to irregular intake of birth control pills.
Kindly continue with the birth control pills regularly as scheduled. Use other modes of contraception like condom and spermicidal agents if you have intercourse until you get your next periods.
In case you miss your periods, you need to take Urine Pregnancy Test (UPT) and seek medical attention promptly.
