General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The polyp over the mouth of uterus indicate benign soft-tissue growth from cervix most likely.

* Usual cases are not having any symptoms and it does not cause any major threat apart from a gradual increase in size and occasional discomfort in intercourse when sufficient large size.

* You can discuss the option of its laser removal with your OBGY during your next visit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
