What Does Presence Of Blood In The Stool Indicate?
I had blood in my stool and in the toilet when i pooped for 4 days and now none for the last day but i still have pain every time i go poop and my stomach hurts all the time is this something i should be worried about??? I also drink about 300 ounces of liquid a day and i pee about 12 times a day this is not normal and dont know what i should do???
I understand your concern. Blood in stool with stomach pain could be due to constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, piles. If associated with vomiting and burning pain in stomach then it could be due to gastritis, stomach ulcer. I would suggest to consult gastroenterologist and undergo detail examination, stool test, fecal calprotectin test, USG scan, colonoscopy and endoscopy if needed.
Specific treatment will depend on cause. Meanwhile, avoid spicy/oily/fatty and high fiber diet. Take tablet Dicylcomin for cramp. And if burning pain is there then tablet Rantac will help you. Avoid stress, do regular exercise. Capsule sporolac, eat diet like apple sacuse, bolied rice, banana, toast, yogurt and butter milk.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
