What Does Presence Of Minimal Degenerative Spondylotic Ridge In MRI Mean?
Please tell me what my report means, I can't find detailed answers. It's my M.R.I. results read "at T-12-L1, minimal degenerative spondylytice ridgind is present w/only minor indentation fo the ventral sac. No loacl disc protursion, canal compromise, or root impingement is noted. Please help. Thank you. Good day
The MRI report shows that there is small degenerative calcium deposition at mid back T 12 - L 1 level and this can cause mild discomfort during movements like bending or turning around. Your spinal canal is normal with no obvious pressure on spinal cord and nerve roots. The disc is not involved and there is no need for surgery. Degenerative spondylotic changes respond very well to physiotherapy. Medications are not required for tolerable pain.
